Say hello to Nudleblu, our second signature winter coat built just for sighthounds. Designed for skinny dogs with spaghetti legs and zero body fat, Nudleblu is warm where it counts and tailored to move with your hound, whether they’re bounding through snowdrifts or napping on your clean laundry. Now available in four snug-fit sizes, including our smallest yet for Italian greyhounds.

Designed and developed in Melbourne — a city known for rain, wind, four seasons in one day, and a 90-minute drive to winter snowfields — The Coat was originally created for our Northern Hemisphere customers who needed serious greyhound protection from harsh winter conditions. It's built for serious winters, icy footpaths and bitter winds. If your hound shivers at the first sign of frost, this is the coat for them.

A proper coat for hounds that don’t do cold

  • Zip-up spine with hidden gusset for easy on and off, even if your hound is dramatic
  • Waterproof outer shell with wind-block lining and soft fleece interior
  • Fully enclosed rump for warmth all the way to the hocks
  • Snap-on removable hind legs for fitting ease and extra coverage in harsh weather
  • Integrated three-point harness and leash portal with a tail-friendly cut
  • Reflective side flashes for early morning and late-night visibility
  • Available in four sighthound-specific sizes: WEENY, SMALL, MEDIUM and LARGE

“Nudle” because your dog is basically a noodle. “Blu” because winter is cold, damp and a bit dramatic, whether you're in Manchester, Montreal or Melbourne. This coat was created by people who understand what cold feels like when you have no body fat. It has been field-tested by rescued greyhounds and perfected by obsessive sighthound owners (that’s us).

How one size can fit many dogs

Nudleblu is designed for sighthounds. That means deep chests, slim waists and long legs. The most important measurement is chest circumference. If the chest fits, the back length will sit where it should.

Every coat includes our unique, patent pending three-zip system along the spine, giving you up to 7.5 cm (or 3 inches) of adjustability in the chest. This allows a tailored fit whether your hound is lean, layered or somewhere in between.

How it works:

  • Inner zip = slim fit
  • Middle zip = standard fit
  • Outer zip = extra room for layering or broader chests

The Outer shell is made from waterproof Taslan 228T polyester 120gsm fabric with a breathable PU Printed Membrane, chosen for its weather beating and wind cutting properties.

The Lining is Taffeta-210T, a high-quality polyester fabric. It is a light, very soft and durable material that dries quickly and resists creasing. This versatile fabric is widely used as a breathable lining for winter clothes and active sports gear.

The Insulation is 160gsm 100% polyester filling, not too thick and not too thin. A perfect weight for cold Australian days and perfect for some active snow frolicking in Northern Winters.

The faux fur Collar is a knitted, synthetic fabric that is made from a blend of acrylic and polyester fibres.

The Coat is designed to be used every day and as such will occasionally need cleaning. You can spot clean the outer shell and lining as needed with a damp sponge and mild detergent. If you need to perform a more thorough clean on The Coat, please follow this Do and Don't guide.

DO

  • Do machine wash at 40˚c on a gentle cycle on its own, as the collar faux fur may shed some fibres.

  • Do hang it up to dry in a warm place.

  • Do (If absolutely necessary) warm iron the nylon outer shell on the lowest heat setting possible using a pressing cloth.

DON'T

  • Don't use any type of fabric softener or bleach.

  • Don't dry clean.

  • Don't tumble dry.

  • Don't use steam when ironing the outer shell.

  • Don't iron directly on the outer shell.

All fabrics used in The Coat are pet friendly and can be cleaned as such. The faux fur collar is a knitted, synthetic fabric and can also be machine washed at no more than 40˚c. It may need a little more attention once fully dry, a light brushing with bring back it's softness.

Care & Maintenance

  • Spot clean only using a damp cloth and mild soap
  • Do not machine wash or tumble dry. This will damage the zips and waterproofing
  • Lay flat to dry in the shade. Do not hang by the neck or leave it in direct sun
  • Check and clean the snap-on hind legs regularly
  • The faux fur collar can be gently brushed and spot cleaned with cold water
  • Avoid soaking or using harsh detergents. These will damage the lining and reduce performance

Let any mud dry first, brush it off, then clean the spots that need it. It’s a coat, not a towel.
